Well, there are many books covering the topics of real estate, mortgages, investing, and personal finances. Below are ones that have been reviewed by us or recommended to us as being the best of the bunch.
But, hey, don't just take our word for it, click on the titles and read what other people think too!
In our opinion, the best book currently on the market for outlining the steps and process for selling your real estate on your own, as well as providing you with worksheets, template contracts, and tax forms.
One of many "for Dummies" books we have reviewed (and liked). Although this book has a slant towards using real estate agents, it is still chuck-full-of great insights and tidbits about buying your home which can easily be applied if doing it yourself.
Ok, obviously we like several of the "for Dummies" books, yet more than the style of books we like the writing of Eric Tyson. He manages to simplify many concepts about your personal finances in a concise and simple way - a must have for any library.
What are the stars for?
Any book that we've reviewed, we've assigned a star. The stars are used as our ranking mechanism, 4 being a "Best-Of" and
5 being a "Top-Pick". Keep in mind a few things, low stars don't mean the book isn't good, we try to be selective with
our selection, so if it made this list, then it's worth the look.
So, why don't some have stars?
Simple, any books without stars are ones that we're currently reviewing. They made the list because they were recommended to us
by qualified people, and we followed up with other sources and decided that it was worth a look. Once reviewed, the book will
be assigned a ranking.
